The APEDA Recruitment 2023 notification has been issued for the position of Assistant Manager. Candidates with a B.Sc degree are eligible to apply for the position.
APEDA Facts: The Government of India established the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, which was passed by Parliament in December 1985. The Act (2 of 1986) went into effect on February 13, 1986, with a notification published in the Indian Gazette. APEDA is charged with the promotion and development of exports. The Authority was established in place of the Processed Food Export Promotion Council (PFEPC).

Qualifications in education:
Manager’s Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, veterinary medicine, food processing, foreign trade, plantation management, or a related field. Agriculture Management degree from a reputable university or institution.
- Master’s degree in the above specialisations from a recognised university/institution is preferred, as is publication in international journals in the above fields.
Age limit (as of March 20, 2023): 30 years
Age Reduction:
- 5 years for SC / ST
- 3 years OBC
- PwD: ten years
- 3 years for ex-servicemen (ESM).
- Disabled military personnel: 3 years
- Employees with APEDA: 5 years
Salary range: Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/-

APEDA Recruitment Selection Process 2023:
- The written exam will be held in Delhi NCR centres.
- A written test consisting of a single paper will be used to make the selection (total 100 marks).
- Each objective type question will have four answer choices and one mark.
- Every incorrect answer will result in a 25% penalty.
- Answers on the OMR answer sheet and descriptive answer booklet are marked with a pen.
- The paper must be bilingual (Hindi and English).
- The qualifying marks in the written exam will be 50% for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates and 60% for all others.
- The merit list will be prepared based on the written test marks.
