Educational background:
Mechanical:
- 4(four) years full-time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/Power Plant Engg. from a recognised Indian College/Institute/University approved by AICTE with not less than 65% (General/OBC/EWS) & 60% (SC/ST) in aggregate of all years/semesters as per conversion formula of the concerned university/institute.
Electrical:
- 4(Four) years full-time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics from any recognized Indian College / Institution /University, approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks (General/OBC/EWS) & 60% marks (SC/ST) in aggregate of all years/semesters as per conversion formula of the concerned University/Institution.
Civil:
- 4(four) years full-time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering from any recognised Indian College/Institution/University approved by AICTE with not less than 65% (General/OBC/EWS) and 60% (SC/ST) in aggregate of all years/semesters as per conversion formula of the concerned University/Institution.
C & I:
- 4 (four) years of full-time work Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation /Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication from any recognised Indian College / Institution / University, approved by AICTE, with not less than 65% (General/OBC/EWS) & 60% (SC/ST) in aggregate of all years/ semesters as per conversion formula of the concerned University/ Institution.
IT:

DVC Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
- The Selection Process is comprised of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding GATE 2022 paper, Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI).
- Eligible candidates must have taken the GATE 2022 corresponding paper in Mechanical (ME)/ Electrical (EE)/ Civil (CE)/ Instrumentation (IN)/ Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC)/Computer Science and Information Technology (CS).
- Only candidates who have passed the corresponding GATE 2022 paper will be considered for the next stages of selection. GATE 2022 qualifying marks will be determined by the GATE 2022 conducting Authority.
- Please keep in mind that only GATE-2022 scores of 100 are valid for this recruitment process. GATE marks from 2021 or earlier are not valid.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) for the further selection process based on GATE-2022 marks obtained out of 100 in the order of merit in a ratio of 1:10 to the number of vacancies category-wise in each discipline. If two or more candidates in the same discipline and category received equal marks in GATE 2022, and the ratio of 1:10 is increasing, all of those candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview, regardless of the above ratio.
