Qualifications in education:

Manager of the Court:

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream combined with a Masters in Business Administration or an Advanced Diploma in General Management from an Indian university or institution recognised by the University Grants Commission.
• 5 years of experience in Process Management, Information Technology Systems Management, Human Resources Management, or Financial Management.
• Good computer application skills and a computer diploma of at least 6 months

Stenographers II and III:

• The candidate must be a recent graduate.
• A diploma certificate in stenography from a recognised institute is required.
• Must be fluent in Assamese, the official language of Assam.

Age Limit (as of March 15, 2023):

• Court Manager: aged 25 to 43 years
• Stenographer II and III: 18 to 50 years

Salary:

• Rs 30,000 – 1,10,000/- Court Manager
• Grade II Stenographer: Rs 22,000 – 97,000/-
• Grade III Stenographer: Rs 14,000 – 60,500/-

Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2023 Selection Procedure:

• The Stenographer selection process includes a Stenography test, a written test, and a viva voce.
• The written exam is OMR-based and consists of three papers.
• The final selection will be made based on the candidates’ cumulative total marks in the Written Examination, Project Report, and Interview.
• If two candidates receive the same grand total of marks, the candidate who is older will be given preference.
• Advertisement will explain the syllabus for each test ( Check Advertisement ).

For everyone else: Rs. 500/- For SC/ST: Rs. 250/-

Stenographer :

For everyone else: Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST)
