GSECL has issued a job advertisement for the positions of Junior Assistants/Junior Engineers/Others in various disciplines. There are a total of 259 positions available in the aforementioned job. Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible to apply: BE/B.Tech/MBA/B.Sc/BCA/BBA/Diploma/CA/ICWA/BA/M.Com. Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited: GSECL is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of the Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB). It came into existence in August 1993 after the unbundling of the GEB. It is a power generation company working in the territory of Gujarat, India. It delivers electricity through four distribution companies of DGVCL, MGVCL, PGVCL and UGVCL.

Detailed Eligibility :
Educational Qualification:
Accounts Officer:
- CA / ICWA with minimum 55%.
- Should possess minimum two years relevant experience after obtaining minimum qualification.
Labour Welfare Officer:
- Two years full time post graduate qualification with 55% from recognized University duly approved by UGC in any of the following : Master of Social Work / Master of Labour Welfare.
- Candidate should possess minimum two years of working experience of HR Functions in a Company or as Labour Welfare Officer in a factory.
Deputy Superintendent (Accounts):
- CA / ICWA – Two years full time post graduate qualification from recognized university duly approved by UGC in any of the following : MBA (Finance), M.Com. (Accounts/Finance).
- Distance Learning Courses secured in above Degrees from the recognized university duly approved by UGC/DEB may be allowed only for departmental candidates of GUVNL and subsidiaries who have rendered atleast 03 years’ service on regular establishment in the company.
- Minimum 55% is required.
- Should possess minimum two years’ relevant experience after obtaining minimum qualification.
Instrument Mechanic:
- Full Time Diploma (Instrumentation & Control) in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with minimum 55% in Last Year / 5th & 6th semester.
Lab Tester:
- Full time /Regular B.Sc.(Chemistry) with minimum 55% and above in last year/two semester from recognized University.
Junior Engineer–Environment:
- Full time B.E./B.Tech.(Environment) in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with minimum 55% in 7th & 8th semester without ATKT.
Junior Assistant:
- Full time B.A., B.Com. B.Sc., B.C.A. and B.B.A. in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC with minimum 55% in final year.
Plant Attendant Gr.-I ( Electrical ) :
- Full time/Regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized University with minimum 55% in Last Year / 5th & 6th semester.
Plant Attendant Gr.-I ( Mechanical ):
- Full time/Regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized University with minimum 55% in Last Year / 5th & 6th semester.
Note : Knowledge of Gujarati is essential.

Selection Process of GSECL Recruitment 2023:
The selection process includes the online exam.The tentative syllabus for the exam will be including the following syllabus.
