ICF Recruitment 2023 | Clerk/Technicians | 10 Available Positions Last day to apply: February 7, 2023

The ICF Recruitment 2023 notification has been issued for the positions of Clerk/Technicians in a variety of disciplines. For the fiscal year 2022 – 23, there are approximately 10 vacancies available in Sports Quota (Open Advertisement). Candidates with a 10th/12th pass/any degree are eligible to apply for the positions. Candidates who are interested and qualified can apply online for the position. Applications are also being accepted from outstanding athletes. The eligibility and selection process are explained in detail below.

ICF: Integral Coach Factory

Pt.Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, founded the Integral Coach Factory in 1955. ICF’s primary function is to manufacture railway coaches in a variety of styles and variations for the Indian Railways. ICF’s most popular coaches are self-propelled and special-purpose coaches. Integral Coach Factory invented/produced over 58544 coaches.

ICF Clerk/Technicians Recruitment 2023:

Qualification in Education:

Senior Clerk: A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university is required.
Junior Clerks must have completed the 12th (+2 stage) or an equivalent examination.
Technician Gr. III: 10th Std pass, the training period for such sports quota appointees will be three years, unless they have ITI qualification in the relevant engineering trades, in which case the training period will be six months.
Sportspeople must have the minimum educational requirements for the position.
Those appointed as Senior Clerk/Junior Clerk must demonstrate typing proficiency of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi within FOUR years of their appointment date, or their appointment will be treated as provisional until they pass the typing test.

Eligibility for Sports:

Participated in Olympic Games as a country representative (Senior Category).
Athletics: National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships medalist.

• Ball Badminton: Ball Badminton Federation of India is a sports achievement.
• Kabaddi: Sportspersons must weigh 85 kg or less at the time of the trials, and candidates weighing more than 85 kg at the time of the trials will be disqualified.
• Powerlifting: Indian Powerlifting Federation issues certificates.
• Table Tennis: Sportspeople may be hired based on their current annual All India rankings.

• All championships should have been held under the auspices of a recognised International / National / State Sports Federation, as well as the Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB).
• Only Senior National and Junior National Championships will be considered for the above-mentioned norms.
• Rural meets, Festival meets, and other similar tournaments will not be considered.

Age Restrictions (as of July 1, 2023):

• 18-25 years.
• Candidates must be born between July 2, 1998, and July 1, 2005.
• For open advertisement recruitment, no age relaxation (upper or lower) is permitted.

Level 2: Rs. 1,900/- Level 5: Rs. 2,800/- No. of. There are ten open positions.

ICF Recruitment Process 2023:

• Trails/Interviews are part of the selection process.
• Before the trials, eligible candidates will be called in for document verification.
• Only candidates who meet the Eligibility Criteria will be considered for the selection process.
• Trial will be followed by a Personal Interview.
• When called for the selection process, candidates must bring their original certificates with them.
• A Trial Committee will conduct trials for eligible candidates to assess their athletic ability and suitability for the ICF team as well as the Indian Railways team.
• 40 points for game skill, physical fitness, and coach observations during trials
• NOT FIT Candidate: A candidate with fewer than 25 points.
• Selected candidates will be subjected to a medical examination to ensure that they meet the medical requirements for the position.

The following are the mark distributions:

50 points for evaluating recognised sports achievements according to norms.
40 points for trial game skill, physical fitness, and coach observation.
Education: 10 points
Total of 100 points

Fees for Applications:

All candidates must pay a Rs 500/- fee.
Fee of Rs 250/- for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PwBD, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes.
Demand Drafts and Indian Postal Orders must have been issued on or after the date of this Employment Notification.

How do I apply for the ICF Recruitment 2023?

Candidates who are interested and qualified may apply for the position. Candidates should send their application forms (via regular mail only) to the address by 07 February 2023 at 5.00 p.m.

Note :

If the candidates are found suitable and appointed in the Railways, they must undergo training for the period prescribed for the specific post in which they will be offered appointment, if training is required for the specific post.
