The Indian Institute of Science (Supercomputer Education & Research Centre) has issued an online job advertisement for the position of Administrative Assistant. The Indian Institute of Science is a public, deemed, research university for higher education and research in science, engineering, design, and management. It is located in Bangalore, in the Indian state of Karnataka. The Institute began with only two departments: General and Applied Chemistry and Electro-Technology. The first Director, Morris W Travers began the task of organizing the Institute shortly after his arrival in India at the end of 1906. Travers began the construction of the main building, which is one of Bangalore´s landmarks today.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% of marks
Age limit(as on 06.01.2023): 26 years (Age relaxation as per GoI norms (if applicable) will be extended.
Salary/month: Level – 03 (Rs. 21700 – 69100)
IISC Recruitment Selection Process:
- The Job-oriented Aptitude Test (100% weightage) will be used to select candidates for the position. If the examinations are held in multiple sessions, the scores obtained by each candidate in each session may be normalised in accordance with the standard norms.
Application Fees:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD, Ex-servicemen, Transgender, and women shall pay a processing fee of Rs. 50/-. Other candidates shall pay an application fee of Rs.450/- and a processing fee of Rs. 50/-.
