The IPR Recruitment 2023 notification has been issued for the positions of Scientific Assistant – B in a variety of disciplines. There are approximately 51 open positions for the aforementioned positions. Candidates with a B.Sc/Diploma qualification are eligible to apply for the position. 

The Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) is an independent physics research institute in India. The institute conducts plasma science research in areas such as basic plasma physics, magnetically confined hot plasmas, and plasma technologies for industrial applications. PR is now recognised on a global scale for its contributions to fundamental and applied research in plasma physics and related technologies.

Qualifications in education:

B: Scientific Assistant

Civil: Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years after SSC) with a minimum grade point average of 60%.

Computer:

Diploma in Computer Engineering (3 years after SSC) with a minimum grade point average of 60%. OR a B.Sc. in
Electrical: A diploma in electrical engineering (3 years after SSC) with a minimum grade point average of 60% is required.

Instrumentation: A diploma in instrumentation engineering (3 years after SSC) with a minimum grade point average of 60% is required.

Mechanical: A three-year diploma in mechanical engineering with a minimum grade point average of 60% is required.

Electronics: Diploma in Electronics Engineering (3 years after SSC) with a minimum grade point average of 60%.

Physics: A B.Sc. in Physics with a minimum of 60% marks is required.

Minimum and maximum age limits (as of 15 March 2023): 18 years and 30 years.

Note: Age relaxations are permissible in accordance with Central Government orders on the subject as amended from time to time.

Rs 35,400/- is the salary.

2023 IPR Recruitment Selection Process:

• The exam will consist of objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions) in the subject/discipline under consideration.
• The final decision will be made solely on the basis of the performance in the personal interview.

• The interview will take place at the IPR Gandhinagar.
