Qualifications in education:
Executive in charge of management:
- The candidate must have a regular MBA (Finance)/PGDM from an AICTE/UGC-approved university/institute with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
- The candidate should have at least two years of post-qualification experience.
Legal Executive/Law Officer:
- The candidate must be a law graduate from a UGC-approved university or institute with a minimum grade point average of 60%. (or equivalent CGPA).
- The candidate should have at least two years of post-qualification experience.
- The candidate must have a current CLAT-PG Score Card.
Manager of Human Resources:
- The candidate must have a regular M.B.A. (HR)/PGDM from an AICTE/UGC-approved university or institute with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
- The ideal candidate will have two years of post-qualification experience in human resources.

Trainee Assistant Engineer/Manager (Electrical):
- The candidate must have a regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an AICTE/UGC approved University/Institute with a minimum of 65%.
Trainee Assistant Engineer/Manager (Civil):
- The candidate must have a regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE Degree in Civil Engineering from an AICTE/UGC approved University/Institute with a minimum of 65%.
- Experience of at least four years is required.
Trainee Accounts Officer/Manager (Finance):
- The candidate must be a Certified CA (Chartered Accountant) from ICAI or a Cost and Management Accounting (CMA)/ ICWA from ICAI or a regular M.B.A. (Finance)/ PGDM (Finance) from an AICTE/ UGC approved University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Only Certified CA (Chartered Accountant) from ICAI will be eligible to apply for the MPPTCL vacancies.
Trainee Junior Engineer (Mechanical):
- The candidate must have a regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE/UGC approved University/Institute with a minimum of 65%.
- Candidates with regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE degrees in relevant engineering fields may also apply.
Trainee Junior Engineer (Electronics):
- The candidate must have a regular Diploma in Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from an AICTE/ UGC approved University/ Institute.
- Candidates with regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE degrees in relevant engineering fields may also apply.
Trainee Junior Engineer/Assistant Manager (Electrical):
- The candidate must hold a regular Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a (Plant/AICTE/UGC approved University/Institute with a minimum of 65% marks) (or equivalent CGPA).
- Regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE Degree in relevant field required.
Trainee Junior Engineer/Assistant Manager (Civil):
- The candidate must have a regular Diploma in Civil Engineering from an AICTE/UGC approved University/Institute with at least 65% marks.
- Candidates with regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE degrees in relevant engineering fields may also apply.
Age Restrictions:
- The minimum age limit is 18 to 21 years.
- Maximum age: 43 to 48 years.
Age Reduction:
- Individuals who receive the Vikram Award will be granted a 5-year reprieve.
- The upper caste members of the rewarded couples will receive a 5-year relaxation under the Inter-caste Marriage Promotion Scheme of the SC, ST, and OBC Welfare Department, GoMP.
- An Ex-Serviceman candidate may deduct the period of defence service previously rendered from his age, provided that the resultant age does not exceed the upper age limit by more than 3 years.
- Relaxation of the age limit applicable to Govt./ Corporation/ Board/ Autonomous Institute employees and Home Guards of GoMP will be granted to such candidates only if they are in service continuously at the time of applying online as well as at the time of Documentation.

MPPGCL Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
- The score obtained in the online examination with 100 questions will be used to make the selection.
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth one mark each, with 75 questions in the relevant discipline and 25 questions in general awareness and aptitude.
- The online exam will be two hours long.
- There will be no negative evaluations.
- If an online examination is held in multiple shifts due to a large number of applicants for a specific post, normalisation will be used to moderate candidate scores and prepare a merit list.
- A separate merit list will be prepared for selection of Departmental contractual employees applying for post(s) reserved for them.
- The website will be updated with a preliminary list of shortlisted candidates based on merit.
Fees for applications:
- The application fee for candidates from the Unreserved Category is Rs. 1200/-. (including GST).
- The fee for SC/ ST/ OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/ EWS/ PWD candidates from M.P will be Rs. 600/-. (including GST).
- There is no refund for the application fee.
