Eligibility details:
Qualifications in education:
Engineer Executive Trainees (Electrical / Mechanical):
- Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute or University with not less than 65% as per respective institute/ University norms (55% for SC/ ST/PWD candidates).
- Candidates must have taken and passed the 2022 Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
- Executive Trainees in Finance: Must have passed the final CA (conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India)/CMA (formerly ICWA) exam (conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India).
Human Resources Executive Trainees:
- Graduate with a full-time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel & Administration/Industrial Relations/Human Resource Development/Human Resource Management (65% marks or equivalent grade from a recognised University or Institute (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD).
- In 2021-2022, the candidate must have taken the UGC-NET in Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management/ Labour & Social Welfare/HRM (merged cycle).
- To apply, General/EWS candidates must have obtained at least 40% and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD candidates must have obtained at least 35% in both UGC-NET papers.
Trainee Assistant Company Secretary:
- Graduate and Qualified Company Secretary with valid membership in the Indian Institute of Company Secretaries (ICSI).
- Desirable Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the line, preferably in the executive or senior supervisory level, in Central/State Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies or large Industrial Organizations dealing with Corporate Laws and other Statutory and Non-Statutory Secretarial matters.
- A thorough understanding of SEBI/Stock Exchange compliance is preferred.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2023):
- UR – 30 yrs
- 30 years EWS
- OBC (NCL) – 33 years old
- 35 years for SC/ST
- 40-year-olds with disabilities
Age Reduction:
- Upper age relaxation will be permitted for SCs/STs/OBCs/ESMs/PWDs in accordance with Government of India guidelines.
- Relaxation of the upper age limit for candidates who were ordinarily domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989 will also be permitted under Government of India guidelines.
Salary range: Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000/-

- 01 position for an Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee).
NEEPCO Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
- Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interviews in order of merit, and the number of candidates may be limited or increased.
- The score obtained in GATE (Electrical or Mechanical) / CA/ CMA (previously ICWA) / Company Secretaryship/ UGC- NET (Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management / Labour & Social Welfare / HRM) will be used to shortlist candidates. The final merit panel of the selected candidate will be prepared based on a weightage of 80% given to marks scored in GATE (Electrical or Mechanical) / Final CA/ CMA (previously ICWA) / Company Secretaryship / UGC- NET (Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management / Labour & Social Welfare / HRM) Examination and 20% given to a selection committee’s personal interview.
- The personal interview will include questions about general knowledge and aptitude for the job.
Fees for applications:
- Candidates from the General/ EWS/ OBC categories must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 560/- to be deposited.
- There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
