SJVN has issued an online job announcement for the position of Field Engineer/Field Officer in a variety of disciplines. This position requires the filling of 80 vacancies. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this position should apply on or before January 10, 2023. Candidates must be at least 30 years old. The candidates will be paid Rs.66,000 per month. Field Engineer-Civil
- Full time Degree in Civil engineering from a recognized university/institution of India
Field Engineer-Mechanical
- Full time Degree in Mechanical engineering from a recognized university/institution of India
Field Engineer-Electrical
- Full time Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics engineering from a recognized university/institution of India
Field Engineer-Environment
- Full time Regular B. Tech /B.E. in Environment Engineering OR two years full time regular Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Science from recognized University/Institution of India
Field Officer-F&A
- CA/ICWA-CMA/Two years full time MBA with specialization in Finance
Field Officer-HR
- Graduate with two years full time MBA/Post Graduate Diploma with specialization in Personnel/HR

SJVN Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
The selection process includes a computer-based test/written exam, a group discussion, and a personal interview. Marks obtained in CBT/Written Test will be weighted at 75%, Group Discussion will be weighted at 10%, and Personal Interview will be weighted at 15%. The following test centres will be available to candidates:
- New Delhi
- Chandigarh
- Dehradun
- Shimla/Mandi/Bilaspur/Kullu/Kangra/Hamirpur/Solan
Candidates must select any two test centres as their preference-1 and preference-2 test centres, and no changes in circumstances will be considered in the future. SJVN, on the other hand, reserves the right to add/delete any test centre and assign any centre to candidates.
Computer Based Test:Part I will consist of 120 multiple choice questions from the relevant discipline, and Part II will consist of 30 multiple choice questions from Executive Aptitude. CBT qualifying marks will be 40% for SC/ST/PWD candidates and 50% for others.

- For General – Rs.600/-
- SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of Application Fee
