Qualifications in education:
Library Intern:
- Postgraduate degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc./ M.Lib.Sc) from a reputable university or institute with at least 55% marks.
- Students who have taken their final exam and are awaiting their results may also apply.
Abilities, skills, and knowledge desired:
- Basic computer application knowledge (MS Office).
- Knowledge of library software is required (Koha, Dspace, etc.).
- Understanding of library procedures and standards (DDC, MARC, etc.).
- English and Hindi communication skills are required (oral and written).
- When dealing with Library patrons, use tact and courtesy.
Age limit (as of March 3, 2023): not more than 26 years.
Monthly salary: Rs.16,000/- (consolidated).
