Eligibility details:
Qualifications in education:
- Candidates for the position of Enforcement Officer / Accounts Officer must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
Assistant Commissioner of the Provident Fund:
- A degree from a recognised university or the equivalent is required.
- Diploma in Company Law/Labour Laws/Public Administration is preferred.
Age Limit (as of March 17, 2023):
- 30 years as an enforcement officer / accounts officer
- 35 years as an Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner
Age Reduction:
- The upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers, including ECOs/SSCOs, will be relaxed by five years, subject to the condition that an Ex-continuous Serviceman’s service in the Armed Forces is not less than six months after attestation on the closing date for receipt of applications.
Salary:
- Pay Level 08 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC for Enforcement Officer / Accounts Officer
- Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner: Pay Level 10 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
- For the purposes of determining the final merit in the current recruitment case, weightage in the ratio of 75:25 will be assigned to marks in the Recruitment Test and marks in the Interview.
- The dates and times of both Recruitment Tests (RTs) will be announced on the UPSC website in due course.
Fees for applications:
- Candidates must pay a fee of Rs. 25/- unless they are female, SC/ST, or have a Benchmark Disability, in which case they are exempt.
